Lucan brings the community together every year with the Lucan Festival. The Family fun festival runs from 4-8th September this year and has something for everyone. Hitting things off is the historical walking tour of Lucan. Giving the community the history of their area. On Friday there’s a very interesting talk where 4th and 5th classes will be asking the older generation about their school days in Lucan in the ’50s and 60’s. What a comparison that will be eh?! Fun fact. Did you know that Carrolls Pub used to be an abattoir?

On Friday they have something for all the family lighting up the sky with the fireworks display. These are but a few of the events taking place. As part of the community, Carrolls wanted to bring something to the table and that’s exactly what our Chef has done creating THE LFC SANDWICH with ingredients like Louis’s fried chicken served in a brioche bun with lettuce & tomato it’s bound to go down a storm. We’re looking forward to welcoming all the community to Carrolls throughout the festival.
